Hand me down through eternity.
Pass me from the beds of your tired hopes to the
cities of your aspirations.
Leave out your silly fears of afterlife
and calm me with your mortal need.
Sophistication has always been but a pretext to arrogance
that i cannot abide.
I cannot abide.
Pass me further,
help me hide.

Help me descend through countless eons.
Pass me from the tables of your dreamed-of bounty to the
fields of your lust.
Cast down your silly fears of this life
and lay with me in carnal greed.
Asphyxiation has always been but a pretext to stagnation
that i cannot abide.
I cannot abide.
Hold me tighter,
pull me inside.

Smile helplessly as i fall through the endless torrent of will
ricocheting from the debris of your falsehoods to your
refusals to interfinger.
Pass by the gifts of sorrow given by strife
and dance with me until we need.
Morality has only ever been a pretext to authority
that i cannot abide.
I cannot abide.
I love you because
I know you tried.

...but you know what freedom is ...
yet you continued to abide...

Fools will always abide.

Many long-term relationships are quiet death sentences.
It should never be that way.
Morality is built on the sanctity of naive promise, not on the sanctity of feeling good.
That is where morality, as currently defined, is a HUGE failure.
From the moment we are born nature gives only two directives which should always remain paramount and built within the moral fabric woven by society, and are for some strange reason, left out by religions;
Which are: seek pleasure and avoid pain

We are only here for a short time.

We accept the pain for an incorrectly-conceived, juvenile morality system based on fear and not the two most important directives in life.

there is no end to 'seeking pleasure' dear. when you look at the real thing and i mean real love (almost impossible to find mutually) all pleasures seem trivial infront of it. that is a fact. by the way its good to know that you are on a quest for freedom...your definition of it is, however, distorted.
