Title : " Organica Necrotica "

Artwork and Poem by Fangfingers © 2004

IT IS POINTLESS TO LOOK AT THIS UNLESS YOU ARE IN FULLVIEW...YOU CANT EVEN READ THE POEM IN SMALL VIEW

LOOKING AT IT IN SMALL VIEW ONLY IS LIKE HAVING A HOT GIRL STRIP ...THEN CLOSING YOUR EYES . ( GET IT ? )

( where do all the snoikels come from ? )

        Phot references...

the slug by ( an awesome photographer and a good soul )

1 Skull by ( who appearnently has stripped out his gallery and isn't speaking to anyone)

Tree by ( who finds great trees )

1 eyeball and single tooth from scx.hu

All other phot elements from my own personal collections

-----------------------------------

I intend to make this a poster......unfortunately there was no way to turn the original phot of wood i shot that i filtered and used as the basis for this....into an acceptable print ratio here at DA.

When i find somehere to make posters ...i'll edit this piece and inform. If you think you may be interested in a print of this ...please tell me so below ..and i will contact you
when i get the process figured out ... It is VERY kool at it's FULL res.

JEEZ, I don't think I can find enough words to say how fantastic this is !!! This is the sort of image I could easily spend hours and hours looking at, the many spooky details like bones and dead fingers are awesome and amazing. I love every single thing about this brilliant piece of work [except the scary spider, I'm terrified of them]
It must have taken a hell of a long time to put all this magnificence together. Brilliant brilliant work !!!!!!!!!!!!!
:iconthelma1:
Oh, I have to just add, this HAS TO BE SEEN AT FULL VIEW, plus it's going straight into my faves, having the privilage of being the FIRST one in there !!!!!
:iconjaik:
Very cool, but the faces are pretty disturbing!

Ohhhh *swoons* (is that a :faint: emoticon?...)......THIS is marrrrrvelloius Jim....the central panel I'm perusing in fine detail...the concealed finger is divinely executed.....SOMETHING within is drawing me back to my adolescent days & I'm pondering, pondering.....WHERE have I witnessed such style & extraordinary detailing before with skulls; eyes; trees.... ????

*ligtbulb* is incandescet....yes! :) Roger Dean......one of his "Yes" cover albums....the incredible tree~bark so organically serpentine & breathing...& the overall concept reminding me too now of another fine (fantasy) artist of my past inspirations, yet one whose name alas, is evading me....Michael Moorlock???....

anyway precious, your work is remarkable.....I DO think the zany poetry would appear more 'gelled' in one specific colour....hmmm....maybe the multi~hue effect adds to the 'chaotic' feel, madness in submission of passion... :)
Lastly, the skeletal figure leans upon a fascinaing tree...ohhhh :) SO tactile...(the tree!) yet the emaciated one does appear a lil' 'pasted'.....*laughing* NOT inebriated due to his posture & cyclops eye...lol....you know what I mean ;-)

Wow, very skillful Jim !
You're a great artist, that much is clear, my dear ;-)

YOU ? ..faint at me ?... ..theres a twist huh?...

THANK YOU...

Don't remember aYES cover with skulls ...but i have brain rot at the moment. And i *think* youre thinking of Michel Moorcock who was a science fiction author ...so maybe you are grasping at one of his book covers ?

*face cracking smile and giggle * with "pasted " portion...

AND yes ..isn't that tree fantabulous?.... i love trees with stories... AND yes my ' imagined self ' leaning over there looks a little " plotzed" ... (onto the page no less) ... AND was the only thing that gave me a little trouble in this.

I wasn't sure if i was quite ready with this, and would have waited a little yet to stare and absorb........but due to the unexpected DD ...and figuring it may never come again...while herds of deviants were crossing my page like the Serengeti ...i figured i'd throw it up for maximum potential exposure... Since i see a few other minor flaws due to shrinking it so much...i doubtless will edit it. ...and will i'm at it i will reconsider my dilema against the tree.

SO thanx for lending your sharpened eye of experience and affirming my own sense of " bungle". ;) ...

 ( had to sneak another one in )

:iconfangfingers:
THank you hon... AND no not great yet ...but i'll get there... thanx for peeking ....
