Guests were still floating in late to the Little Church of Mediocre and Pointless Routine for Baby Kruffy's mock wedding.

The groom ( as tradition demanded ) had dressed up as a mushroom and traveled the around the world three times on foot. He had just entered the pointlessly long walkway at the front gates of the church.

He was terribly tired.

The guests were late, the day was strange; promising to rain small woodland creatures since dawn, and her Bride's Zombie had no weddingbreath mints...But even WITH ALL that, Baby Kruffy was excited. She was not going to let these truffle-less things ruin this most important mock moment.

As the Groomsman picked up Baby Manly and the music started, Baby Kruffy thrust out her arms, unable to contain herself...dying to hug his stem. From somewhere under the endlessly-turning rotisserie chicken, little voices started to sing...


"...Here comes the Groom....
...Dressed like a 'shroom... "




Edit / Revisit - 8/11/2010........

Always meant to change the font on the bottom of the work. While the previous one was artsy fun and lent to the mood ... legibility suffered. ( *sigh* such is the way of fonts)

Anyway...Baby Kruffy told me she's happier...

Also added a little text, as is my way...

I realize this is one of my own favorite works ...and i think i'll do a series of similar works called "Postcards from the Bottom of Your Shoe "

I've also come to realize in my faux arrogance... that anyone who actually understands life is COMPELLED to fav or collect this... It is truly unavoidable. As unavoidable as a deer on the freeway of life, immobilized by the oncoming headlights of epiphrical wisdom.

Anyone who doesn't fav or collect it is simply a hopeless dunderhead, encased inside the meaningless foibles of a lack-luster, sexual existence.

This is obviously one of the ONLY actual foundational artworks on the planet Earth. A rare thing indeed.

..A funny thing happened on the way to the Realm-of-Fantasy group here at DA...
I submitted it there and i got this message from an "Agregor" :

Your work is wonderful. But is does not contain enough visible Fantasy elements to be accepted into our gallery. Sorry. But, please, feel free to submit another more Fantasy related works.

In the realm of fantasy... Churches that have faces and hold umbreallas to prevent getting small woodland creatured on... gaint frog attendants... bride's zombies and funny small women being held up to see their future husbands and people floating-in as a mode of transportation are all not actually any type of fantasy elements.

I take pride in knowing that Lewis Carrol would have his illustrations for Alice and Wonderland snubbed by this group as well
